Please be aware, the alarm being sent works best with
USA; 4G AT&T (Certified on AT&T), T Mobile
Canada: 4G Rogers, Tellus, Bell
*USA/CANADA NOTE; Other carriers may have compatible SIM cards. These must use
4G B2/B4/B12 Frequency as their MAIN frequency in your local area.
Check with your local network provider for compatibility. Connectivity with non-recommended SIM cards may vary.
For AT&T Business or FirstNet users; Please let your carrier know when ordering SIM that the device is AT&T certified as an mPERS IOT device that requires Voice, Data & SMS as it will use Voice, Data & SMS to communicate. They can search ‘EV-07BX’ to find it in the AT&T system.
Before you put the SIM card in the alarm – please ensure the SMS & Calling functions are working correctly and set up your voice mail on a normal cell phone before putting the SIM card in the device. Always restart the device after changing SIM cards.
Please charge your device for 6 hours before 1st use. Best to leave it by the window during this time so it may pick up and connect to GPS.
You program the device by sending it text commands from your own cell phone.
Follow ‘Read first Start Manual’ for recommended settings. All other programming can be found in the ‘SMS programming guide’.
